resets to factory setting?

i have a problem described in this thread

but i am sure the problem is only on my system, since two friends could not replicate it on their end.

it used to work, but now it does not anymore.

can anyone help me and guide on how to do a clean reinstall? i tried to do it myself, i even deleted the registry key after uninstall is done. i just need it to reset to factory setting.

I have also made sure windows11 would use my nvidia card when it runs houdini.

help please?
