Nice to meet you.
I would like to deform the mesh in the attached image, which looks like an edge extruded from a cylinder, with displacement and noise like the mesh in →. I can't come up with a good idea.
What is the best way to apply displacement or noise radially from the center of the mesh?

I can't make it radial by applying noise with VOP, etc., so I would like to get some help.

One option:
'Mask from target' SOP - to generate a radial animated mask attribute 'mask'
You could then use the mask attribute in an 'attribute adjust vector' SOP - in the Post process section, blend by attribute: mask.
'Delta mush' SOP might also be of use to smooth things out.

One way.
I've been slow to reply because of the day-to-day stuff.
Thanks for posting!
I'm learning a lot from the many ideas sprinkled in. I will get some tips from checking the data. I appreciate your contribution.

Mask from target' SOP

I've been trying to follow a little advice.
Mask from target' SOP This gave me the mask from the center, but I couldn't figure out how to use it with the 'attribute adjust vector' SOP.
If you have time, I would be happy to show it to you with data etc. Thanks for the post.
