Is it possible to make a cut on polygons along a curve?

Does anyone know how in VEX or SOP you can cut, for example, a plane along a projected curve? Suppose you have a grid and a curve in the shape of a circle or other projected onto the grid. How to get cuts on the grid based on intersection points?

you can try Poly Split SOP, plug grid in first and curve in second input
