Parametric Geometry in Houdini

I took the math from this tweet: https://twitter.com/ru_sack/status/797283018842906624 and, using the approach suggested by Entagma (http://www.entagma.com/vex-in-houdini-strange-attractors/) for rendering strange attractors, plugged it into SideFX Houdini.

The result is some pretty geometry created using this simple parametric representation:

x=0.25cos(v)cos(u)+3cos(u)(1+0.5cos(1.25u))
y=2.5(0.25sin(v)+0.5sin(1.25u))
z=0.25cos(v)sin(u)+3sin(u)(1+0.5cos(1.25u))

Enjoy!
