The ship was modeled and UVed in Houdini, textures were made in Substance Painter. The ocean, whitewater, spray and mist were simulated in Houdini. The sails and rigging were animated Houdini Vellum .The animations were made using a Vicon motion capture system and cleaned up using Vicon Blade and Shogun. The only thing I am not responsible for are the characters that I found on Mixamo.

    I think its's a very good result considering the effort put in. All work always has room for improvement. Modeling I guess is a function of project nature/requirements, workflow and personal preference. In the end, timelines and results matter.
