Houdini apprentice license error

When I try to run Houdini and hit accept to get the apprentice license, the dialog freezes and spits out an error after a long time. This is on a macbook. The error is below. Please help! Thank you.

This is due to the maintenance that SideFX is undergoing this weekend. I'm in the same boat, but this should be resolved by Monday.
