Well if you have a pre-render script it will execute on the first frame of the sequence (or frame 1?) if you want it to execute every frame you need pre-frame script.
I also believe the `Reload Parameter Path` is only pressed once if you have `All Frames in One Batch enabled`
Should be easy enough to test by printing the hou.frame() in the script and then looking in the logs

If you don't specify what frame it should load at (with @pdg_frame) you can override it on the ROP Fetch under Frames and Batching. Otherwise it's going to load the scene at frame 1

You can add shortcuts to radial items, then you end up with something like zbrush where you have chords you type to select specific brushes/tools.
Looks like it should be easy enough to create a new radial only containing brushes too if you wish for that - should just need to copy the code from the radial items to your own radialmenu items.

The `Scatter And Align` sop has some handy features related to removing overlaps.
I've found it easier to use at times.
It does assume that your assets are unit scale though - so you might need to either pre-scale your asset or tweak the f@pscale after scattering.

Yes, you can set it with a package.
Replace the path with the path you want, then save it as e.g. myEnvironment.json in .../User/Documents/houdini20.0/packages/
{ "enable": true, "env": [ { "HOUDINI_TEMP_DIR": "C:path/to/new/temp/directory" } ] }

As far as I know you would need to convert the .obj's to .usd's before you would be able to use them in a value clip.

Two options
Old docs in versions where curve 2.0 exists:
https://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/nodes/sop/curve-.html [www.sidefx.com]
h18.5 docs:
https://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini18.5/nodes/sop/curve.html [www.sidefx.com]
edit:
I don't think this is usually the case for updated nodes

I think you're already using the approach I used (group expand to get steps).
I took a peak inside the HDA and it seems like if you quadremesh before you poly cap that should make it more stable.
Did observe another bug though - if the input geo is a single step tube *and* `Varying Geometry Widths` is enabled it outputs bogus

The straight pipe was just a tube node - only thing I was changing was the amount of rows and columns

Nice! This is indeed that is super useful when ingesting geometry from elsewhere.
I took it for a spin, some feedback:
1. The default resample value (0.01) is a bit on the low side
2. Tangentu and curveu would be nice as a global toggle instead of just when you resample
3. The experimental fix input geo fails on a straight tube (looks like it's messing up the ends mostly)
Features that I missed:
1. Would be great if you could provide a pscale for each point along the spline
2. Carrying/transferring attributes from the input geometry

Sounds like you want a solver in sops and not a for each loop. You can always retime the output of a solver if needed

My guess is because you have the "Toggle Transform handle" toggled on, pressing "K" should hide the xyz handles.
