Houdini starts really slowly. and once it does start up its still slow.

Does Houdini Come with a render-er?
if so… how do i render? ive used Blender 3d before

hey the engine is called mantra and there a node that you use for that
and you need a cam and a ligth

just figured it out. and everything is really shiny. but its working. i did a fire sim. and tried to render. Mantra was running. but did not show up in Houdini

ya im going through the tuts. but Wow! Houdini is simple but yet so powerful! extremely big jump from blender

also… mantra wont render fireball explosions from the pryo fx. but it renders wispy smoke
