Is there a free assets site for Houdini? I am looking for scenes that work with Apprentice that I can explore and learn from.
Kind of like what Blender has with Blendswap.com.

And don't forget the thousands of commented examples that ship with Houdini. Most operators have example help card files that have comments and notes on the nodes (mmb the blue labeled ones). Just press the ? on the node parm to access the help for that node and scroll down for the examples.
There's at least one school like the old school!

Thanks for the links!
@Jeff: Are those thousands of examples available to us apprentice users? If so, where are they located on my drive? I am on Windows and Side Effects is installed under C:\Program Files\Side Effects Software. When I search that folder for *.hip I only get 46 results. A search for *.hipnc reveals nothing.

Just fire up Houdini, drop a node down you want to investigate and hit the “?” on the parameters pane as jeff suggested. Thats how you access the many, many scene files. The nodes do not have to be connected to anything, just drop them down ignoring the red error sign's on the node itself, and hit the ? and divulge the information there.
Loadable .hip files are always located right at the bottom of the help cards.
