Unable to adjust the camera focus plane in Karma / Solaris C 2026年8月2日12:04
Thank you for your reply.
I’ve attached a screenshot to better illustrate the issue.
As you can see, I am already in Camera State, and the blue focus plane is correctly displayed in the viewport, which indicates that the camera focus editing mode is active.
According to the documentation and the viewport help, I should be able to interactively move the focus distance using the indicated mouse/keyboard shortcut (highlighted in the screenshot). However, nothing happens when I try. The blue focus plane remains visible, but it cannot be moved interactively.
To clarify:
* I am looking through the camera in Solaris/Karma.
* Camera State is active.
* The blue focus plane is visible.
* The documented shortcut produces no response.
* I have also tested different viewport renderers (including Vulkan), with the same result.
Is there another preference, viewport setting, or camera option that could disable interactive focus editing? Or is this a known issue?
Thank you for any suggestions.

I feel like I must be missing something obvious, but I cannot figure out how to interactively adjust the camera focus distance in the Karma Render View.
I am working in Solaris and I am already in **Camera State mode**. The blue focus plane is visible in the viewport, so the camera state appears to be active correctly.
However, I cannot move or reposition the focus plane. According to the available information, **Shift + left-click** should allow me to set the focus distance by clicking on an object or a point in the scene, but nothing happens when I try it.
To clarify:
* I am already in Camera State mode.
* The blue focus plane is visible.
* Shift + left-click does not change the focus distance.
* The behaviour is the same in both the Karma Render View and the Vulkan viewport.
Am I overlooking an additional option that needs to be enabled?
Has anyone managed to adjust the focus distance interactively in Solaris/Karma, or is this possibly a bug in Houdini 22?
Any suggestions or alternative workflows would be greatly appreciated.
I am currently using Houdini 22 on macOS.

Is there a way to disable text anti-aliasing in Houdini 22? 2026年7月22日2:49
Thank you all for your replies and suggestions.
I increased the interface contrast, and this has made the problem noticeably less apparent. It is not completely solved, but the text is now easier for me to read.
I am attaching two images shown at 100% and 200%. I hope they make the issue I am referring to more noticeable.
The main difference can be seen between the text on the nodes, which has much more pronounced anti-aliasing, and the text in the parameter interface, which appears to have only slight anti-aliasing.
The final image shows a typical situation in which I need to zoom out in the node graph to see the sequence of nodes, check for possible errors, and understand the overall structure. At that zoom level, the node text becomes particularly difficult for me to read.
Thanks again for your help.
