Another question…. I've tried to run Houdini, but my machine tells me I'm out of video memory. Can anyone tell me system requirements to run the program at a fairly good speed??

I've installed Houdini apprentice twice now, but still don't get the icons, shortcuts, or anything to actually start the program. I can't even find the .exe file if I try to create a desktop shortcut. HOW do I run the program?!
'My computer' and ‘explorer’ both tell me the program is there. (I've installed it on windows xp)
