It look like you need some python to create a exporter. You can export geometry files in houdini but no scene file.

Check out https://github.com/dkoerner/houio/tree/master/scene_exporter [github.com]. This python script exports the current scene in houdini to a json description file. Exported are cameras, objects (not including sops), lights and some animated parameters. It is very rudimentary and does not support materials etc. But it might be a good starting point for writing your own exporter.

Hi,

I just tried to play with point clouds in a point vop and found that for the same setup pc iterate succeeds in a vopsop but fails in the new point vop.

The “oppadd vopsop” command suggested earlier in this thread didnt work for me (which console am I supposed to use this with?).

So the current solution for me is to copy the vopsop from an old hipfile to sidestep using the point vop (which seems to be broken for me).

Hi,
can anybody tell me if houdini supports staggered grids for 2d/3d eulerian fluid sims? I wasn't able to find anything like that.
