It seems to be fixed in 21.0.700. Not sure when exactly it was fixed, but it works now!

Thank for taking the time to look, but I figured it out.

There was a very slight, almost 1-2 voxel protrusion of my pyro sim outside of the matte surface. It was super thin and only showed up when it was over black, so it was hard to see without the matte.

Anyone know how to do this with the new Vulkan viewport. These seem to not work anymore.
