Scale object inside subnetwork 2026年6月22日7:00
Hej,
little problem scaling a CAD subnetwork with over 500 objects inside:
1) get STEP file from customer
2) convert in PolyCad64 to FBX
3) import FBX
...
export STL for 3D printing
My problem is, that I need to scale the objects inside the subnetwork and get the resulting sizes, not the original sizes in the Node info!, because I have to calculate tolerances and so on.
F.e. I have one part that is 10 x 10 x 10 and I need the node info of the SOP inside the OBJ inside the subnetwork, to show me f.e. 4 x 4 x 4.
chatGPT, Gemini and so on are not familiar with Houdini ;o)

Hello,
still don't know how it was earlier;o)
I have a subnetwork with a scaling of f.e. 0.01 as uniform Scale.
The control for visible objects in the viewport is set to "Hide other objects" - diving inside the network ignores the scaling and everything is extreme big.
Is it possible to get the same effect as the control for visible objects in the viewport is set to "Show all objects", but without showing all objects?
I hope there is anyone in this greta Houdini universe who has the same wish and a solution ;o)
