Houdini Artist Certification
The Houdini Certified Artist Program is designed to recognize and validate the proficiency of artists using Houdini for various aspects of 3D content creation. Achieving certification demonstrates a high level of skill and commitment to excellence in utilizing SideFX's procedural tools.
Successful candidates will earn the official Houdini Certified Artist credential and an exclusive artist badge, affirming their expertise to studios, clients, and the wider community.
Requirements
To achieve the Certified Houdini Artist designation, candidates must complete the following steps:
Step 1 | Pay the Exam Fee
Candidates must first purchase the $150 USD non-refundable exam fee. This fee covers the cost of administering the exam and processing the certification.
Step 2 | Schedule and Prepare for the Exam
An email will be sent to candidates upon purchase that will instruct them on how to schedule their live proctored exam with Certiverse.

Step 3 | Pass the Exam
The certification exam is a comprehensive assessment covering essential Houdini concepts, workflows, and best practices relevant to professional 3D artists.

Recertification
To ensure Certified Artists maintain current knowledge of the latest Houdini developments, recertification is required every two years. To maintain certification status, Artists must retake and pass the Houdini exam every two years.
