cleaning up a cloud scape render Aug. 20, 2013, 5:31 p.m.

hey guys,

Has anyone figured out a way to clean up the pixelated edges around a cloud when you look really closely at it? mine end up very pixelated and blurry. Im currently rendering out at 720p HD resolution using 3x3 Pixel Samples with a transparent sample of 4. let me know if you want my .hip file.

Exporting and Importing Custom Shaders Jan. 16, 2013, 1:16 a.m.

Hello everyone,

I just began writing my own shaders in Houdini for a flip fluid project that i am working on, and i am having a bit of difficulty understanding how to export my shaders that i wrote so that i can use them on a separate machine, i am using Houdini 12.1.125 with an apprentice HD license. When i have tracked the individual shader on my computer it leads me to a Materials.gal file, i feel like this includes all of the materials when i only just want a couple of my custom shaders so that i can use them on other machines, any tips or help would be greatly appreciated!!

hey guys im fairly new to flip fluids and i was wondering if i could get some help, as part of an intro to a project that i am working on i have text that turns into a fluid, and so far that works, however i also have a flat plane of geometry set up below it to cause the fluid text to disperse upon but im not having any luck with the collision node from the drive particles tab, any ideas on what i should try next?
