Houdini Exoside QuadRemesher Not activating on Windows 19.5 Oct. 4, 2022, 11:41 a.m.

Hello,

I am experiencing an ongoing issue with activating the Labs Quadremesher node in my Apprentice version of houdini 19.5.303,

I've had this issue on previous houdini versions if I'm not mistaken. But if I place the quadremesher node and try to activate it, the console window appears saying SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED. I'm unable to enter my license key for the remesher tool, or even activate it's 'trial' version for 30 days, etc.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there something I need to re-install? I'm really not sure what the problem is which is frustrating. I'd like to use this tool in particular..

I've attached a screenshot of what comes after pressing the node:

Will appreciate any help, thank you

How to procedurally reference specific Pivot Points Aug. 25, 2022, 9:27 a.m.

Thanks the video is helpful,

To anyone who'd curious - I found a workaround.

I placed a * 'wildcard' sign under the Edit SOP's group input to select everything

I then set it's transform space to 'local frame by connectivity'

and it's local frame to 'Oriented Bounding Box', which provided the procedural pivot transforms I needed without using a Transform SOP in the first place.

Cheers!
