Alambic import : edit camera animation Sept. 20, 2025, 9:35 a.m.
Thanks a lot. I chose FBX, but before exporting, I had to do the following :
For export purposes, consider that the camera currently in Blender, doesn’t really have keyframes; it has a constraint whose origin comes from the markers. But in Houdini (or another 3D app), we want to recover the camera animation in order to get animation curves that we can correct. So we do the following:
* Select the camera and rename it to "CameraTracked".
* Duplicate the camera using **CTRL+C then CTRL+V**.
* This creates a new collection—rename it to **TrackingSetup_Cns2Curve**, and rename the child camera inside it to "CameraCns2Curve".
* With this new camera, go to the Outliner, expand the camera, then expand "constraints", select "camera solver", and in the properties panel below, click the button "Constraint to F-Curve".
* Open the Graph Editor to visualize the animation curves for position and rotation on XYZ axes.
* These curves can be corrected either in Blender or in the 3D application to which the scene will be exported.
then export to FBX

Hey thanks for your help. Could you tell me where to put these options? I didn't find them in the object node, light node or Mantra_ipr node... thanks!
