Reboot your computer. Now go to the Start menu, do you see the Side Effects submenu?
I did it and there is nothing in start menu =/ ..build 10.0.249.5

Click whatever buttons you need to close the dialogs. When you finish, do you not see Houdini 10 in your Start menu?

I think you may be the first to have tried on Windows 7.If gfont doesn't, don't worry about. It just means that TrueType fonts might not work. You can always try to rerun it at a later date (via the command line tools). I'd try to start up Houdini regardless and see how it works.
I didnt understand sorry.. then how I will finish the installation?
9.5 run easy in windows 7
