Hi! Here we go. Apprentice is hanging on startup.
This is a newly licensed Houdini 11.1.118
running on an HP Elitebook Win7-Pro w/ QuadCore i7, 16Gb RAM and 2Gb nVidia Quadro 1000 card

The Houdini Master logo comes up, than just hangs there. Eventually the Task Mgr shows it a (not responding).

Is there a way to launch this so I can see a console window?
Is there a log file, somewhere, with stdout or the WinDoze equiv?

No download managers, other than the defaults for Win7-64…this is a new laptop. I am running Avast, and have turned the real-time qizmo off…result: success.

Hi. I just ordered Apprentice, and the download for Houdini-11.1.118-win64 is not working at all.

Each attempt yields a 1.585KB file, which throws an NSIS error:
“Instraller intergrity check has failed….Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.”

3hree attempts so far. The file is never more than 1.585Kb, despite the indication that it is a 200+ Mb file.

Any help is appreciated.
