I'm using a houdini tutorial which i found in 3D Artist mag to make some diagrams for my architecture project
I want to destroy a box to pieces ( that works fine )
and I want to make pieces to random sized boxes !
I've done something like that when i was watching Rohan Dalvi - Tea and cookies tutorial using (points from volume) and (copy) nodes but i dont know how to do it in here !

the gradient is along x axis since you are using $BBX which at your first 2 images is across the spoon
so just change your expression to $BBZ or 1-$BBZ to get gradient in Z axis

in your 3rd image X is actually along the spoon so in there $BBX would work
