Recreating This Particle Animation – Looking for Guidance June 5, 2026, 4:49 p.m.

How would I create the beginning effect where the sand emits from the ground, starting from the back and then moving toward the front (almost like a delayed emission)?
Also, would I then attract the particles to a sphere? I tried using a POP Attract node with a POP Collision Detect node within the POP Network node, but it only causes the particles to stick to the outside surface of the sphere. In the video I want to try to recreate, it looks like the particles are forming and filling the entire sphere, as if they’re being attracted to every point inside the sphere that could be generated with a Points From Volume paired with a sphere setup.
And would I probably use a POP Wind node and a POP Force node within the POP Network node to create the other particle movements?
Thanks!

Export Houdini particles to Blender with Alembic as geometry May 9, 2026, 2:10 a.m.
If I want to export this from Houdini as an Alembic file, what do I need to set up so Blender can import it with actual particle geometry, allowing me to add materials to the particles?
