I'm playing around with scripting, and was wondering, what are the limits for operations, eg add.
How many points can I safely stuff into one add?

Yeah, I came up against that too. I just guessed that now the option is just to set the pivot point in the parameters page … and the missing bit is, you can set the values to $CEX, $CEY and $CEZ which are the values of the input geometry centroid.
Just be careful, I've had some weirdness happen when using transforms that if you make a transform and then decide to use the centroid and change the pivot, it doesn't seem to like it. I'm not sure about that … will have to do some testing.
