ERROR: Invalid Machine Name.

Are you sure that you followed the instructions correctly ? Did you select “apprentice license” after the installer finished the installation ?

Please try the latest daily build, H14.0.222. There was a fix for this.

You can also set the Environmental Variable to use a web browser:

HOUDINI_EXTERNAL_HELP_BROWSER = 1

Hi,

is it possible to change the new internal H14 help browser to the system default browser, like safari, chrome or firefox ? It's really slow on my system. Scrolling the help pages is a pain, it's stuttering and slow. Even dragging the help window around is stuttering. Loading the local help pages takes also a long time.
I wonder because everything else is really fast.


I'am using OS X 10.10.1.
