Mix two or more materials March 6, 2011, 11:28 a.m.

I'm attempting installing this shader in Houdini 11.0.658 under Windows7-64 with no luck. The error msg I get on Houdini startup is

hmaster.exe - Entry Point Not Found
——————————-
The procedure entry point ??0PI_EditScriptedParams@@QEAA@PEAVOP_Node@@_N1@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library libPI.dll.

I'm guessing something has changed in this math library since Houdini v10 but I'm not sure what I can do about this. has anyone had luck with this shader in v11?

Are there hotkeys for jumping from network to network, most importantly SHOP? Is there a hotkey for refreshing the shader ball?

I'm also curious about recompiling shaders in general. Is it disk I/O that is the major bottleneck for rebuilding the shader ball?

I'd like to consider some upgrades that might improve this process most effectively. I'm guessing the shader ball has nothing to do with the GPU and since there doesn't apear to be much CPU activity when performing this task maybe having an SSD in my laptop would improve the performance.
