Do any tutorials do a good job of going over installing and using digital assets?
I downloaded the rabbit and skeleton OTL’s.
Install digital asset library.
to both: current HIP file only
and scanned OTL directories.
Now where do I find the assets to work with?

Procedural Modeling useful in character modeling? July 9, 2008, 2:39 p.m.
In going thru Buzz’s tutorials on Houdini, I’m up to Keyframe Animation.
After watching the Procedural Modeling, I see how useful it is. I wonder if character modeling would benefit from Procedural Modeling. Would character modeling need to be done through Polygonal Modeling or would Procedural Modeling be of real use there?

Are there “starter models” included with ApprenticeHD?
Such as a human, maybe a dog or such that one could butcher up and learn with. :shock:
