I really appriecate the suggestions and I can work with the velocity now considering the resample has reduced my objects velocity around 200%!!!

well it is as easy as bringing in your shader from slim and once you find it in the generators tab you can just simple animate the shader in the parameters tab. Simple Simple Simple!
