It's misleading to instruct someone to type "down" in the y-axis field. Your video implies that typing this word inverts the orientation. This is not the case. What's really happening here, is that you are renaming the "up" attribute, which typically defaults to {0,1,0}, to "down". Beginners may not realize this. All this accomplishes is to remove the detection of the "up" attribute by the CopyToPoints node. It's better to instruct someone to turn off the Y-axis, and not generate another attribute on the points that is discarded anyway. "Down" is not a pre-defined Houdini attribute like "up". In your example video, you could have typed any other word into the field, like "chocolate_milk," and achieved the same result as typing "down."

Amazing how something that can be done in two clicks in other software needs A) a tutorial for Houdini and B) can create a controversial discussion :D
