As a VFX artist sometimes working on different platforms may provide a better result or a new possibility going forward. That's the reason why. Blender VDB import has just been supported in 2.83 alpha. Not officially released yet. Why not try it, especially for volumes. :) So far so so good.
if you are referring to "fireball viz", yes, it is a preset i created. this is not standard in houdini. But, i have explained whats in the preset so that you can make one yourself. Hope it helps.

Sometimes i jump through multiple software if one can provide an easier way to do something but i think houdini got the fire on lock

For the preset in the beginning was that something you made prior in another video? I seem to not have anything available for that selection.
