RBD Transform geometry node

The RBD Transform operator performs a Transform operation on all 3 source geometries (Geometry, Constraint Geometry and Proxy Geometry) at once.

The RBD Transform operator performs a Transform operation on all 3 source geometries (Geometry, Constraint Geometry and Proxy Geometry) at once.

Note

Constraint Geometry points and Proxy Geometry primitives with a name attribute matching the name attribute of the selected primitives will have the same transform applied.

Parameters

Transform Order

Order in which transformations occur.

Rotate Order

Order in which rotations occur.

Translate

Amount of translation along xyz axes.

Rotate

Amount of rotation about xyz axes.

Scale

Non-uniform scaling along xyz axes.

Shear

Amount of shearing. The three values represent shearing in the X direction on the XY plane, in the X direction on the XZ plane, and in the Y direction on the YZ plane, respectively.

Uniform Scale

Uniform scaling.

Pivot Transform

Pivot Translate

The local pivot space’s translation value for transformations.

Pivot Rotation

The local pivot space’s rotation value for transformations.

Pre-Transform

This menu contains options for manipulating the pre-transform values. The pre-transform is an internal transform that is applied prior to the regular transform parameters. This allows you to change the frame of reference for the translate, rotate, scale parameter values below without changing the overall transform.

Pre-Transform Order

Order in which transformations occur.

Pre-Rotate Order

Order in which rotations occur.

Pre-Translate

Amount of translation along xyz axes.

Pre-Rotate

Amount of rotation about xyz axes.

Pre-Scale

Non-uniform scaling along xyz axes.

Pre-Shear

Amount of shearing. The three values represent shearing in the X direction on the XY plane, in the X direction on the XZ plane, and in the Y direction on the YZ plane, respectively.

Other

Transform Constraints

When turned on, the constraints from the node’s second input will be transformed.

Updated Rest Length

Turn on this parameter to update the restlength attribute. This helps to avoid errors or unexpected behavior when the constraints try to get back to their original length.
