SideFX is pleased to announce the beginning of a new relationship with Born Digital, Inc. Starting July 1, 2016 Born Digital is authorized to sell and support SideFX products, including Houdini ­- the software used to create visual effects, animation and game development tools for the world’s top movies and video games.

Born Digital ­- an established and respected software reseller and publisher in the Japanese media and entertainment market -­ will help expand SideFX’s customer connections, localized product support, and education to Houdini artists.

Born Digital is also an authorized reseller of Allegorithmic Substance products, the industry standard for PBR Texturing. Recently launched, the Houdini­Substance plugin ties the two applications together, adding functionality to both in a user-­friendly workflow. “SideFX and Allegorithmic work wonderfully together, so it’s extra exciting to see them expanding their footprint in the Japanese market,” says Alexis Khouri, Executive Vice President, Allegorithmic.
