Ground Explosion

This HIP file showcases how to achieve a basic ground explosion simulation using the latest Pyro Burst and Pyro Trails Tools in Houdini 18.5. This file also includes a basic shading and rendering setup, using the new Pyro Bake Volume SOP.

Note: You can decrease voxel size for higher resolution results. Please GO HERE to learn how to set up the ACES workflow used in this example.

    Works well, very cool. one warning, the /obj/TOPNET/sim_ground_explosion TOP needs to have "ROP Fetch->All Frames in One Batch" turned on, otherwise, you'll get 63 (or however many CPUs you have) Pyro sims running simultaneously which unless you have a massive amount of RAM will take your machine down :)

      I guess if you turn off the RAM caching from the dopnet it won't fill up your RAM and it will work fine, haven't tried it though.

      Hi Peter. Actually all the files have that issue. That was the first thing I changed.
