Hi there,

I'm trying to use openVDB implemented in Houdini 12.5. But, I can't understand how to use it even after I looked at HDK documentation.

The followings are what I wonder :

1. I can't find how to set density value in a specific grid(vertex). Where is the interface to set density?

2. If there is no way to set density value in a specific grid, are there any ways to convert or add volume container to existing VDB? If so, I can use VDB by adding several volume container.

3. Are there any difference between grid and vertex in documentation?

4. Is it right to use class ‘GU_PrimVDB’ when I want to use VDB?

I know it's very basic question about VDB, so I think it's the best way to understand those question to get examples about VDB. But, I guess it's a little bit hard because it's a brand new.

Thank you for reading my problems. I'll be really happy if you get some answer. I'm looking forward to your reply.

Volume Vop node can do this ,i think.
Use“ @name=specificgrid ” or point number to control specific vdb grid.
