Hello!

I'm a total newbie to Houdini coming from Softimage and so far loving it!

One thing I seem to be a bit stuck with and am not sure where to start looking…

I did a copy/paste a couple of days ago and since, I can't seem to be able to paste anything else than what I copied then. I've tried rebooting and manually clearing the windows clip board and nothing seems to help.

Do you have an idea of what I could try next? Is there a houdini or a user folder that is storing that copy/paste data which I could access and delete manually?

Thanks much!

in Linux you can find under this /tmp/
when you copy something it saves out .cpio file inside temp dir.
Just like this
ROP_copy.cpio
SHOP_copy.cpio
SOP_copy.cpio

What is good that you have a ton of clipboards, separate for every type of contexts, input fields (also you have per input field undo shift+RMB), so when you want to paste nodes from one hip to another, you just for example, copy at scene level, copy your shaders at shop level, copy your mantra node at output level, and paste them in the other hip file in one go.

I have the same problem as the original poster. I can no longer copy and paste new items to and from the clipboard, on OSX.

My paste always gives me a copy from a while ago.

I don't know how to clear the clipboard. I can't find those files mentioned above.
