python 27 and golang

golang is a programming language initially developed at Google in 2007.It's very faster than python like c++,and it's multithreaded programs.
the syntax also like python. cound houdini will be use golang in furture?
anther question,why not use python3 replace python2?

it doesnt make Much sense to add another language. for speed up the python code you have inlinecpp. vex is also there for the manipulation part so it would make things much more complicated.

golang is statically-typed, python is dynamic. It's not ideal substitution.

Python became standard in vfx industry (pipeline) and is supported in most of the vfx applications, golang… zero.

I don't know about golang but also python has perfect integration with C++ programs , and that's really perfect.

Also I think python is more than simple scripting language ,It's pretty like to programming languages , Because we can compile python codes too , for example we can write plug-ins with python for Maya instead of C++ ! :wink:
