Hello.

I want to model a car in Houdini.

I've started with ADD node. just made one big polygon. now i need to make many quad polygons in this one big polygon(for subdivision). how to do it?
i tried many different nodes. remesh, break, divide and so on, but no good result. after i tried to create many points on edge of my polygon and after to join them. no luck in this too.

helppppppppp!!!

What's your problem exactly !? Can you attach a simple project or snapshot about your problem ?

Because Subdivision SOP can add Quads inside of Big Polygon perfectly :?

you can use the divide sop's bricker option to cut the model with a grid, then correct the model afterwards

Another thing you could try so you can define your own edgeflow/point position is use the polysplit node.
