Hi There,
I'm doing a simple transform jitter asset in houdini and trying to apply that to a maya camera, however when I try to link the camera to the asset I get the message “Selection has no supported object that can be used for input”.
Is there a work around? Using a geometry and parenting the camera to it was an obvious solution but that doesn't work, any ideas?
Cheers
Lucas

The “Set to Selection” button is used for inputting Maya geometries into the Houdini asset. However, what you want to do is drive the Maya camera with the Houdini asset. Unfortunately, there isn't a good way of doing that at the moment.
In the future, one possible way to do this is to exploit the asset parameters to output your transform parameters. Then, in the Maya side, you would connect these asset parameters to the Maya camera transforms. There are some update/DG issues at the moment that prevents this from working. So the asset isn't able to trigger an update on the Maya side. :?
