hello…new Indie owner here!
im trying to use the “wet sand” shelf tool to produce the effect of a plant sprouting from the ground. its in a “deserty” area, but its not really sand.. dry reddish earth is a better description.
i want the ground to “break” open, and stick together in larger chunks, as earth does. (but with some smaller grains for detail too)
i dont think i can achieve larger chunks just with the clumping settings.. ive tried, but turning things up too much makes it look more like jelly than chunky earth.
id imagine i have to use a procedural map to drive the clumping or something? any suggestions?
