Hiya

I have exported an alembic from maya to houdini but it is not displaying any normals. I was wondering if you had any advise on how to please create the normals that are missing.

you need to unpack the geometry to see the normals or be able to edit them
so just append Unpack SOP, then maybe Convert SOP if you want pure polygons and not polysoups
