Hi there,

I am very new to Houdini. I'm trying to get my head around the basics, loving it so far.

I am trying to work out how to create exploding bubbles in a viscous type fluid. I figured I'd have a particle emitter, emit spheres through the fluid. I've managed to do this.

But I cannot work out how to make the spheres that the emitter creates, collision objects. So that they effect the liquid. I have no idea if this will work or if it's the right thing to do.

Any help for a Houdini beginner would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Damian

I'm learning as well. Of the miniscule number of things I know, this happens to be one. Run through this tutorial:

For fluids, there's a bubble advection tutorial on Vimeo as well:

Thanks djangone. I will give that tutorial a watch for sure.

Though this is the type of thing that I am trying to work out how to do. If anyone knows how to do this and is willing to give me any tips, it would be greatly appreciated!
