Hello again,
So, I'm trying to do a simple copy and paste of keyframes, using the (formerly) trusty C and P buttons at the top of the Curve editor. Sadly, it now does something totally different, and IMHO, useless. Hopefully a bug!
It seems to copy and paste not what I have scoped/visible in the curve editor, but some other group of channels, possibly a channel group, though I try to deselect all channel groups and it still doesn't work.
I can use the Dopesheet, but for simple copy/paste of keyframes that's too slow and clumsy compared to the good old C and P buttons (

This is now fixed in 8.0.418.
In addition, you can now copy and paste between different sets of active channels even if the number of channels in the copy set does not match the number of channels in the paste set. In this case, the number of channels pasted is the lesser of the two set sizes. This is consistent with how copying and pasting of keyframes (ctrl-c, ctrl-v) works.
