Hi,
i have made a project in Houdini apprentice and would like to export in alambic format, so it’s impossible.

I heard you can give me the possibility to do it from my nc project, if i buy a commercial licence. I already bought The Indie licence, is that good to take advantage for that service.

Look forward to know the possibilities.

Thank you.

The format is called “Alembic”.
Inside your Indie session, go to the /out context and drop down an Alembic node.
Point the node to your SOP output and then you can export a single frame or a range of frames into a single .abc file.

NOTE: If you have built your scene using Apprentice and now open it in Indie this option will not work. Alembic export from /out is only supported on scenes that were fully built using a valid non-Apprentice license. So you may have to rebuild your scene, or convert it to the new license, in order to complete your task.
