Hello guys, I am unable to access the normal attribute in the Geometry channel. Not sure why, as according to the documentation, the parameter N exists. I have attached the error. Please help.

It's probably that there's no N attribute on the geometry. Try appending a Normal SOP with Add Normals To set to Points on the geometry itself, (in /obj/geo1).

I'm not sure what the documentation is meaning there, but it might just be giving an example of some attributes that people often use there, as opposed to listing attributes that will be automatically generated even if they don't exist on the geometry.
