i'm trying to use a UDIM texture with Houdini Engine in Maya, but i can't get it to work. I have tried with the Houdini one “%(UDIM)d” and with Maya “<udim>” none of them work Is it possible? or do i have to create a extra uvmap and bake all the textures(masks) over to that one?
The textures will be read into a vop texture, where it is being used as a mask.
I had to write the filepath into a text field that's connected to the texture node inside the Houdini engine, and not a “File - image” that Maya didn't like. Maya went mad when there is a “%” inside a image link.
