How do you make animation curves infinite? I have already made sure the “edit channel properties” before and after are set to extend but it has no effect. I have tried “set selected segments to” all of the options as well in case the tangents are causing issues.

It does feel as if the animation editor needs some love. All other packages call segments tangents and the process of making infinite curves is really intuitive. I have googled the answers and it seems the animation editor has been the same for around 14 years now with people finding it hard to figure out infinite curve way back then. These are the suggestions I have followed but cannot get to work.
