Hello,
I've created an HDA which builds a point cloud based on the input in Maya and instances custom geometry to it. Everything works like expected and now I want to bake out the geometry and the instancer. But when I delete the HDA, to prevent the scene from new sync, the instancer node loses also the instancerpath information and I get nothing.
So my question is: how can I bake the pp-instancer with these informations and get rid of the HDA in that scene?
Thanks for any help!
How to bake the pp instancer

Hi there,
The issue here is that when you disconnect the particle instancer from the HDA, it loses the inputPoints connection, meaning that it has no idea where to scatter the objects. The easiest way to get around this is to uncheck “Use Instancer Node” on the asset node, and then click the “Bake Asset” button.
