couple of month ago H showed my the asset name and path of it in each node. Cant remember how to activate that. Or was it a asset?

Hello,
In the Houdini main menu bar, select Windows -> Operator Type Manager.
Then in the popup dialog choose the Configuration tab and change the Operator Type Bar drop-down menu to “Display Menu of All Definitions”.
Now when you select your HDA node you will see the asset name and path in the Parameter Pane.

This has changed in later versions. As of Houdini 19 (and maybe some earlier versions), it is now found here:
Windows > Asset Manager
then inside this window, you will see two tabs at the top: Operators | Configuration
Click on Configuration tab.
Near the bottom of this tab, you will see "Asset Definition Toolbar:"
Select "Show Always."
