I am doing the APEX tutorial for CGI Nerd
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiVYDh_Kd-k&list=PLX9r8Fg9lByBFCmxSytI90GCJGbf27bde&index=7 [www.youtube.com])
, but the IK settings are not working.
I move the IK and it doesn't respond.
The handle is in the center for some reason.

Can someone please help me?

If the handle is ending up at the center, it means that something must be off with the naming of your driven joints.

Test it out by directly jotting in the names of the joints, not using the tags. If that works, then there's something wrong with how you put in your tags.

However, if it doesn't work, start the ik process over by deleting and remaking the ik autorig node - rinse and repeat. That sometimes helps.

Thank you. Max Rose

I've watched your APEX tutorial and They were very helpful.
It would be nice if you could also explain about the APEX animation. I'll make that request lol.

Anyway Resolved IK problem.

Once I deleted all the APEX autorig conponent and started over.

I wrote name directly to root / mid / tip.
At that point the handle appeared in the specified location.

I tested it again with tagging. This time it worked.

Maybe it was an APEX Autorig loading issue.

Anyway, happy to have solved the problem.
Thank you.

A different problem occurred.

When I move the global (entire character)
The hands and feet with IK set up are now fixed.

APEX is very confusing.
