Hi,
What i have is an instancer created by the Layout node inside Solaris, that scatters 50 or so different assets onto a point cloud. Each asset has the same one simple principled shader, but the shader is duplicated inside the heirarchy for each asset. Now, when i want to edit the material using an Edit Material Network node, or assign a new material to either the Prototypes primitive (hoping to change all the material in one step), or the Instancer itself, or the prototype´s Geometry prim, I either get an error message about "authoring to an instance Proxy not being allowed", or I get no error message, but the material assignment has no effect on the renders.
What is the correct way to change something about an instancer prototype?
Cheers,
Ivan
