Houdini 20.5.584 introduces some bugs in the interface. For example, if I create an object at the Object context level and parent it to a Null object, the child object doesn't follow the transformations of the parent (of course, the "Keep position when parenting" option is disabled). I can rotate, scale, and move the parent, but the child object appears in the same position (if I render the scene, the object is in the correct position, so the issue is with the viewport display). The same goes for attribute visualization. I find the "Add visualizer" function in wrangle nodes very useful, but in version 20.5.584 it doesn't work. I have to set the attribute as a vertex attribute even though it's actually a point attribute. I also tried resetting the global preferences, but nothing changed. I'm working on a Mac with an M4 chip running Sequoia 15.4.1 (24E263). Is anyone else experiencing these issues? Thanks in advance.

Viewport lighting seems to be completely broken in the latest build. Both in OpenGL and in Vulkan. Hdri doesn't show up as backdrop and it also doesn't affect lighting. And while placing a light initially works and lights the viewport exposure adjustments don't change anything and moving the light does not update the lighting.
I'm already wondering why no one else brought it up before. Thought the problem was on my side and I was desperately looking for a setting that I might have made.
I'm on the latest production build, latest nvidia driver (plus hot-fix) and latest Windows 11 24h2.

massimobaitaI'm on 20.5.584, but I can't reproduce this behavior.

jemabarisYes, it looks like viewport lighting is broken. Environment Light OBJ, and other lights as well, don't seem be affecting the scene at all, regardless of lighting settings of the viewport. Have you reported this to support?
